As we reported in Index, Monica Kadar, Kozso's ex-wife, said last week that the musician had completely isolated his family. According to her, her ex-husband made a big mistake, and his lack of contact with her daughter and granddaughter could hurt her.
The Ámokfutók frontman has yet to respond to the harsh accusations, but he has now decided to break his silence. After the singer's former partner and their daughter Amanda, who works as a writer, spoke about their family relationship, she told her own version of the whole thing on her Facebook page.
I'm sure many divorced men and fathers feel resentment as an unintended consequence of a broken relationship, but there is a limit to what I believe a person can only judge themselves and not the person they are throwing mud at and the person they are lying to and the distorted truths that are spreading.
“I have been in contact with my loved ones,” Kozso said in his post, then went on to say that the claim that he had not been in contact with his loved ones was untrue, because
I have never considered myself a perfect father, but everyone knows that there is not just one type of father. But I have never turned my back on my daughter, I have always loved her, she lived with me, I took her on trips abroad, I fought for her for many years, she came with me to interviews, she even lived with her family a few years ago, when their house was renovated, my grandson and I painted and created together – and they know that very well. I have always loved her and I still wish she was not my daughter, I would have accepted her as my own. And no amount of past grudges or criticism can take that away from me.
