Index – Outside – A man climbed the famous London skyscraper without a rope

In footage of Friday’s incident, the man can be seen climbing the building wearing shorts and climbing shoes without a rope.

London police said that patrols met the suspect on the roof and arrested him at the heat of the moment. The man was later detained.

Chief Inspector Tom Fisher, Chief Constable of London Police, said: “A man has been arrested for trespassing after climbing the skyscraper.” The Independent.

These procedures are particularly life-threatening. As we reported in July, Remy Lucidi, who in recent years climbed many skyscrapers and high-rise buildings and performed numerous stunts on them, died tragically.

The man ran into trouble when he climbed to the top of the 68-storey (about 220 metres) Trigunter Tower, a skyscraper residential building in Hong Kong.

The South China Morning Post has learned that Lucidi broke down the locked door leading to the roof and then climbed up the side of the building. He was probably trying to perform some stunts there when he got into trouble and tried to call for help by banging on the window of one of the apartments. A woman saw him, but she could not help him, because after a while the ground slipped from under his feet and he fell.

His camera was found near his body, and the memory card was apparently recovered intact, containing videos of his previous stunts. The last time the man posted on his Instagram account was from the roof of another building in Hong Kong, a few days before Thursday’s incident.
