Tumors, i.e. cancer, remain one of the biggest threats facing our lives today. Our country has a particularly bad situation in terms of cancer statistics, according to the latest Eurostat data. Among the EU member states, the most people die from cancer in Hungary.
For this reason, it is understandable that we raise our heads at any news that doctors and researchers have finally found a solution to the disease with a small percentage of errors. Although this story is not entirely so, it certainly can be a reason to be confident that the patient became symptom-free after another experimental treatment.
An Australian doctor with a brain tumor has remained symptom-free even a year after a devastating diagnosis by treating his disease with a new method based on his own research. Professor Richard Scullier, 57, used his pioneering skin cancer studies to treat incurable stage four glioblastoma – the most aggressive form of brain cancer – after… In June 2023 He was diagnosed with the disease, writes A the people.
However, despite the deadly disease, the man appears to have managed to get rid of his symptoms, despite an experimental treatment that had not been used before, at least in his post shared on Monday, May 13, where he wrote that his recent findings… reveal it. “I had an MRI last Thursday looking for glioblastoma (and/or complications). After yesterday's scan there is no sign of recurrence. I couldn't be happier!!!!! Thank you to the amazing team who took care of me, especially my wife Katie and my wonderful family,” Scullier, who developed the experimental method with Professor Georgina Long, wrote on his page on the social networking site.

Scullier was diagnosed with shock in June 2023 after traveling to Poland and falling ill. However, he did not despair, and thus used his knowledge and previous works to his advantage
He became the first brain cancer patient to undergo combined immunotherapy before surgery.
the Cancer Research Institute Cancer immunotherapy is “a form of cancer treatment that uses the power of the body’s immune system to prevent, fight, and eliminate cancer.”
After the beginning of the year difficult, He underwent several months of treatment, suffered from seizures, liver problems and pneumonia, but now feels so healthy that he runs 15 kilometers a day.
Of course that doesn't mean I'm cured… but it's good to know that it's not cured yet, so I still have some time to enjoy my life with my wife Katie and our three wonderful children.
