Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has announced that he is leaving the company. Dorsey was one of the founders of Twitter in 2006. The company is headed by Parag Agrawal, the former chief technology officer of Twitter.

Dorsey also announced the letter she wrote to Twitter executives. In it, he says he chose to do so because he believed it was inappropriate for a company to be run by one of its founders.

He said that the decision was influenced on the one hand by the fact that the Twitter administration unanimously supports Parag .’s decision Agrawal To sit in place, and to be so. On the one hand, he also agrees that Brett Taylor should be the chairman of Twitter’s board of directors, and on the other hand, he also trusts his colleagues who stay with the company.

He also said that as of Monday, Agrawal will officially take over as CEO. On why he would not stay in any lower position at the company, Jack Dorsey said he wanted Twitter to be able to stand on its own two feet completely independently of its founder.

He wrote, adding that he was pretty sure this was the right decision. At the end of the speech, he also said who will be publishing the post on Twitter and is confident that the company will be able to operate with similar transparency in the future.
