This update took the tech world by surprise because, as Index reported, Microsoft has recently started slowly driving the final nails into the coffin of Windows 10. Released in 2015, the system has gone through several update cycles, and the company said in April this year that version 22H2, released in November 2022, was the last feature update the system received. In the future, only security patches should be expected; But now they have changed their minds.
What is a co-pilot anyway?
Copilot brings all the functionality you can expect from artificial intelligence to Windows: it responds to voice control, participates in image editing – for example by managing wallpapers -, creating text or writing a summary from existing text. In addition, the function can help you set the operating system theme, manage Outlook mail client, use the Edge browser and Bing search engine, and run Microsoft 365, which includes the cloud, Office software, and other productivity applications.

AI Assistant will work very similarly in Windows 10, but there will be limitations. As you know, the hardware requirements for Windows 10 are much lower compared to the next version, so Microsoft cannot transfer all the functions, as old computers will not be able to run them. However, the company has not yet clarified what these will be.
However, there will be some functional differences. There will be capabilities or actions that you will be able to do in Windows 11 but not in Windows 10, but we will try to keep them to a minimum.
