OMV has installed a new electric charger in Budapest, at its charging station in Szilágyi Erzsébet Fasor and Szeged, in Dorozsmai út. The two devices are Elli Flexpole ultra-fast chargers with a total capacity of 250 kW, and 2 CCS liquid-cooled charging connectors are also available for motorists.
The two charging ports can provide 150 kW of power each, but if two electric cars are being charged at the same time, this value is limited to 120 kW each.
An LFP battery is integrated into the approximately 3-ton chassis, with an available output of 160 kWh (193 kWh with total output).
This solution represents state-of-the-art technology and is safer than traditional NMC lithium-ion batteries.
OMV also continuously invests in sustainable technologies and supports e-mobility in Hungary.
The company announced in early November that it would establish, by November 2025, 28 additional charging points, each with a capacity of no less than 150 kilowatts, at its charging stations located next to 7 busy highways in Hungary, as part of a multi-country project co-financed by the European Union. .
