The train between Ankara and Kars has gone viral among Turkish fans in recent years due to the stunning scenery in the eastern part of the country, full of off-the-beaten-track treasures.
“The train is already popular with locals and Turkish travellers, but it’s not much known among foreign tourists,” notes Perry Romo, a travel celebrity who has lived in Turkey for more than a decade.
