After mobile devices also started to shut down, the company began to explain its position again.
Intel’s ordeal has been going on for months, with more and more problems as its high-end 13th and 14th generation processors continue to fail, causing serious damage not only to one-time gamers, but also to game developers who use them in data centers and server parks. Recently, the head of one studio stated that 90% of their failures were due to the two chips in question.
In recent days, more and more reports have been received that not only the Raptor Lake processors used in desktops, namely the 13900K and 14900K, are causing problems, but also the HX versions installed in mobile devices are crashing.
The Blues have already responded to the incident in a statement:
“We are aware of some reports of instability that have been received with 13th and 14th Gen mobile processors. After careful investigation, we have determined that this is not caused by the same bug as it is on desktop computers. System crashes and other issues point to widespread hardware and software issues.”
Although developers have reported on the basis of reports that devices crash with the same processes, Intel is clearly trying to avoid this and make the problem much smaller than it actually is. It is clear that the processors installed in laptops operate at a lower TDP, and therefore the number of cases is less, in any case, the phenomenon itself is still worrying.
