According to Focus Home Interactive, the Aliens Fireteam will be released this summer and will be an action multiplayer FPS co-op.
If you are a follower of the Alien saga and love video games, then you are definitely looking forward to Aliens: Fireteam, the new title of the franchise. This video game is a first-person shooter that focuses on co-op multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, we haven’t heard much of the news since it was announced, and players have missed it.
First, Cold Iron Studios has indicated that the video game will arrive in the summer of 2021, which recently has some players questioning due to the lack of news. It’s surprisingly true that there’s nothing new (we’ll see if we get to see something in the upcoming summer events), but we can rest assured: they’ve confirmed that the window to appear is still in the summer of 2021.
As revealed by Gamespot, Focus Home Interactive (the game’s publisher in some regions, such as Europe) has listed the video game for the summer of 2021. So despite listening over the past few weeks, everything seems to be going smoothly. Maybe E3 2021 or Summer Game Fest are good opportunities to talk more about the game and set a final release date.
Aliens: Fireteam takes place 23 years after the original Alien trilogy, and players will be able to choose different characters with different roles to defeat the xenomorphs. The approach is very different from Alien Isolation, a stealthy/hidden survival horror. To learn more about Alien: Fireteam, don’t miss this 25-minute game.
