After that it is a weekly application In her gushing recommendation We always write about the latest or soon to be released movies and series, also available from Hungary.

Supercell (Supaceal, Netflix)

Five ordinary black guys living in South London suddenly gain superpowers and their lives change forever. That’s what Netflix’s new sci-fi film, Supacell, is all about, dreamed up by British rapper Andrew Onwubulu, aka Rapman.

Each character in the series has a different attitude towards their superpowers, acquired from nothing. At first, the chosen ones will eventually have to band together to defeat the agents attacking them and protect their loved ones. Such as Rapman told VarietyHe couldn't believe Netflix greenlighted his idea, because he'd never seen a superhero story featuring only black people. Could this be the birth of a sci-fi version of Top Boy?

I love to hate you (anyone but you, Max)

I Hate You on Paper perfectly fits the proven recipe: it updates a popular literary classic (in this case the Shakespearean comedy Much Ado About Nothing), and incorporates its story into a bizarre framework that relies on popular clichés of “enemies.” “In love” and “fake dating” and its timing during a conflicted wedding,” we wrote in our January review of the comedy, which was supposed to give the romantic comedy new momentum on paper, but with two main characters. Like Sidney Sweeney and Glen Powell, it didn't work out either.

Regardless, it's definitely worth a watch, if only because it's really hard to find more famous actors in Hollywood these days than Sweeney and Powell.

Not Dead Yet (Disney + Season 2)

Based on the novel Confessions of a Forty-Something Stupid, the sitcom deals with a rather bizarre basic situation: It’s about a newly single, completely neglected woman who gets back to her old life and career. The latter means writing an obituary for the local newspaper while seeing ghosts. The new season of Not Dead will be released on Disney+ on July 3.

Monkey Man (Monkey Man, Apple TV+)

It's quite appropriate to refer to The Ape Man as India's John Wick, as the directorial debut of Dev Patel (Skins, Ghetto Millionaire, The Green Knight) turns out to be a memorable one.

Dynamic and stunningly brutal fight scenes, powerful social critique and political satire of contemporary Indian leadership, while the classic revenge motif remains the film’s main thrust. Patel was physically and financially broke while making The Ape Man, but the suffering was worth it, as the film easily ranks among the best action films of recent years. Incidentally, David Janso, son of Miklos Janco, was the film’s editor.

Land of Women (Apple TV+)

After Born Wives, Eva Longoria returns to the lead role in a series, this time in a production that is surprisingly easygoing given today's lineup and made for comfortable television.

In The Land of Women, Eva Longoria plays a wealthy woman whose husband's shady dealings force her to flee New York to Spain with her mother and daughter.

We don't have to expect a very serious plot from the series filmed in beautiful locations, because as is usual in romantic dramas, the three women engage in a love affair during the Spanish adventure.
