Frost was observed on the highest volcano in the solar system, Olympus Mons, which has amazing dimensions, with a height of more than 21 thousand meters, and a diameter of more than 500 kilometers. So you can see the dimensions, the largest volcano on Earth is Mauna Kea, which is 9,000 meters high and has a diameter of (only) 120 km.
CaSSiS has been observing Mars since April 2018 and taking high-resolution color images of its surface. Now the international team has managed to detect the frost. But they had not previously expected that frost formation would be observed here on Mars, since it is located at a latitude where the surface temperature is also high due to abundant sunlight.
