It has been revealed who will be returning to Be a Millionaire! on TV2.

Legendary quiz shows are experiencing a renaissance, so it is no wonder that TV2 is also bringing back the world-famous quiz show, which has been successfully shown in over 130 countries. The format, which began in the UK in 1998, has become loved by people almost all over the world: among others in India, Vietnam, Nigeria, South Africa, the USA, Malaysia, Venezuela and the Philippines, but of course it has also conquered Europe. In the UK, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy and Slovakia, it has attracted viewers to television screens in the same way as it did in our country.

The show will soon be shown again on TV2: this time there will also be a broadcast with civilian players, but this time celebrity couples, famous people and their partners will also present themselves in the test based on general education.

There will also be a change in the rules. Many of you probably remember the three ways to help: by phone – when the player calls a family member or acquaintance, – when only two of the four possible answers remain, and when the contestant relies on the votes of the spectators in the studio.

In the 2024 version, there will be a fourth option, which is the presenter character, who the player can ask for help in answering. However, they can only use three of the four options.

Who else will be a millionaire! Host in 2024? This time, Laszlo Balik sits in the legendary host's chair.

Pavel Stanchev, CEO of TV2, called me on the “Become a Millionaire!” program, and I honestly admit that I said yes almost without thinking, because I have always loved this format as a viewer, and besides, it is very nice to be able to follow in the footsteps of my esteemed colleagues who have been key players in Hungarian television in recent decades.

Unfortunately, István Vágó, whose name is closely associated with Let You Be a Millionaire!, is no longer with us. “I am confident that my colleagues and I will be able to make this iconic format a success again,” said László Balík.
