Italy is one of the most popular summer resorts in Hungary. Hungarians can enter the country – regardless of a security certificate – by submitting a negative result for a rapid PCR or AG-antigen test taken 48 hours before the flight. Without this, arrivals will be subject to 10 days of epidemiological surveillance and quarantine in Italy.
Only children under two years of age are exempt from the obligation to submit a PCR or antigen test.

In addition, entry into the country is conditional on the participant’s registration with the health insurance company of the place of residence or residence in Italy.

From mid-June, weddings will be allowed, christenings and other family group events will take place. However, participation in the events is conditional on the participants’ acknowledgment of at least one vaccination.
In Italy, more than 38 percent of the population is currently vaccinated. In the past day, 2,483 new cases and 93 deaths from coronavirus were recorded in the country.
