One of the REDs on the CD project provided an answer to a question that had everyone worried about the sequel to The Witcher.
We’ll likely have to wait years for the next game The Witcher to arrive – it’s true that The Witcher 3 was announced in 2013 and released in 2015, but we first heard about Cyberpunk 2077 in 2012 and it was only released in late 2020. We don’t know if other priority projects will overburden the CD Project RED team, but we don’t think they’ll get the job done soon.
After the first details of the franchise’s future were revealed in a blog post on Monday, fans began wondering what the necklace on the snow could represent. Many viewed it as a cat, others saw it as a lynx, but it was hard to know anything about when the story happened.
Robert Malinowski, Director of Global Communications at RED, The CD Project A Eurogamer In response to a question, he said that “some mysteries shouldn’t be so mysterious,” and that the necklace was actually modeled after a lynx. He added nothing more than that.

The only problem with this is that the Lynx school is alone It’s in the fan story, so we didn’t get any closer, we don’t even know if they took this as inspiration, or if the writers wanted to replace the wolf with the lynx. We hope to provide more details as soon as possible.
