At the beginning of July, all we know about the production is that the National Film Institute has awarded it a grant of 700 million HUF, the script was written by Annette Kormos and Krista Juda, and the director was Denis Oros. Also, the story set in the Balaton Heights tells the story of the hard love of two young people, while the most popular songs of Ferenc Demgen are played.
Now the names of the actors who played the lovers have been revealed, which Ferenc Demgen himself posted on his page:
Francisca Torreszek and Mark Ember play the main character in the romantic musical comedy. To date, Franciská Törőcsik has been seen in films such as Couch Surf, Swing and Aurora Borealis, while Márk Ember has gained fame with his comedic stage roles (A Pál utcai fiúk, A nagy Gatsby) and TV shows A Dal, then Sztárban Sztár.
According to the National Film Institute’s announcement on Monday, the film’s basic story is that a 30-year-old heroine caught up in both her music career and her personal life finds a stack of letters written by an unknown man at her deceased grandfather’s house. The letters outline a love story from 1989, when the protagonist’s mother was vacationing with her friends at Lake Balaton and was planning her life with the fiancé her father had chosen for her. On the other hand, the girls meet the members of a rock band, “and everything is overflowing with love.”

Its producer, Attila Kiradi, previously said: “The names Krisztina Goda, Anett Kormos and Dénes Orosz are individually associated with many hits, including blockbusters, films and series. It is very exciting and promising that they work together for the first time using the songs of Ferenc Demin, one of the most popular and widely used Hungarian composers and songwriters.”
Production shooting will begin in late fall.
