“The Left has a secret attack squad, a camp of intellectuals who claim to be completely independent. They are invited to various programs and interviews when it is not necessary to politicize strongly, or to engage in government, but only with precision and refinement, as one would expect from a well-prepared Balib intellectual. Janos Galvolji is also such a person. The Kossuth and Jászai Mari award-winning actor regularly appears on various platforms associated with the left, where he makes his usual world-saving comments, but also criticizes the government.
Well, not really, just gently, slyly, unobtrusively, in the manner of enlightened youth. After all, according to his own admission, he has never been involved in politics. He was previously interviewed by Telex. The popular actor talked about many things in the program, and the current cultural policy was also discussed, in which he of course felt some nostalgia, recalling the good deeds of Comrade Axel.
However, the high point of the conversation was when Galvolgi rewrote his past without batting an eyelid.
It was also fortunate that the roof of the Telex studio was strong, because it did not fall when Galvolgi thanked God because, according to him, he had nothing on earth to do with politics. For some reason, this is the artist's vesszőparipa, because he was a guest on the Újbuda TV program Újbuda nagykávéház last year, where he was also asked about politics. Naturally, there was also talk of the earlier Hetty Hits programme, which promoted hard-line propaganda, where – similar to a telex interview – he pushed politics away, even though that program was only about politics and discrediting the government.
