John Deere is recruiting for demobilized soldiers

In September, John Deere will hold a job fair in the UK, with a special focus on demobilized soldiers who want to make more use of their knowledge gained in the military in civilian life.

In the United States, this opportunity was already launched in July, and it is very popular there. At the job fair, those interested can see how they can use their skills as field mechanics.

“The Army trains people who are highly capable, motivated and highly competent, many of whom already have the engineering knowledge to become qualified technical technicians.”

Cochran added that those who have experience working with military machinery have a number of skills that make them well-suited to working with the world’s most advanced agricultural and turf management equipment.

Those who enroll in the Machine Manufacturer Program receive 70 lessons of free technical training to apply what they learned during their military service to John Deere products and services.
