On July 5, they will open their 2023 UK tour on the Yorkshire coast – in the UK’s largest open-air concert arena, and a few days later they will perform their frantic and spectacular concert in Budapest. Through their “bloody earnest” rebellious music on their studio album Rise, they pay homage to the great heroes of their musical literature and material. Due to the pandemic, they had to postpone their planned 2020 tour, but as soon as the opportunity arose, they started making music together again. The band are big fans of classic British rock and roll. The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Motörhead and other musical delicacies spice up the repertoire.
Ahead of the 2023 Hollywood Vampire Tour, frontman Alice Cooper said:
“It’s been three years since the Vampires have toured. I can’t wait to get back together with the guys, I really love being in this band. My band is great and amazing, but playing with the Vampires is a completely different situation. I don’t do theater at all, I’m just a singer in A band and the band is one of the best bands ever! It would be nice to see Johnny, Joe, Buck, Chris and all the other guys. Lock the doors, put the garlic around you, because the vampires are coming!”
Joe Perry added:
Next summer, it will finally be time for the Hollywood vampires to step up again! We can’t wait to play the songs from our latest album Rise to all of our fans. As the days count down, the excitement increases! See you then… Remember: leave the garlic at home! “.
With hits from The Doors, Love, AC/DC and more, and of course Alice and Aerosmith, Hollywood Vampires was voted Best Show at London’s Wembley Arena in 2018.
Produced by Tommy Henriksen and the Hollywood Vampires, the 16-track “Rise” is one of the cleanest and most enjoyable rock and roll albums of recent times, created by music masters and true fans of the style. Unlike their 2015 debut album, the second album consists primarily of original songs written by the band. In the spirit of the original Mission to the Vampires, here are three of the songs that were originally written and recorded by legendary rockers who unfortunately died young…they’re trying to resurrect them.
