Jubilee logo making competition in Tarczy

15 years ago, on September 1, 2008, the Hungarian-English bilingual department was started at Tarczy Lajos Primary School. On the occasion of this important anniversary, a logo making competition for senior students was announced.

– The winning logo will be displayed in all competitions and programs organized by the department.
It is perhaps no coincidence that more than 15 beautiful works were received. The jury was in a difficult position, and the task of selecting the best colorful creative works was not an easy task. Of course there were criteria for what should appear on the logo, as we wanted the number 15 to appear on the work, thus a nod to the 15th anniversary, and we also wanted the Hungarian-English bilingualism to be reflected in the works – we learned from Hardy from department head Tunde.

-Students enrolled in the Bilingual Department are those who truly understand what it means to enroll in this department, that is, studying different subjects in English, and participating in various programs that contribute to the development of language skills. Tunde Hardi pointed out that they are the ones who are primarily preparing for the language exam, and they feel the atmosphere of this section more than others.

Finally, the following result was obtained:

First place: Banka Szakac, 6.h
Second place: Balogh Emesi, 8.h
Third place: Rebecca Erke, 6.h
A special award was presented to: Dominic Cabin, fifth grade student.

The works can be seen in the hall.
