Konami announces the shutdown of Metal Gear Solid V and Metal Gear Online servers on PS3 and Xbox 360

The bad news is if you keep playing Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, the latest installment in Hideo Kojima’s saga of action and stealth, on PS3 and Xbox 360.

In addition to the game Metal Gear Survive, the game Metal Gear Survive. Konami has announced the shutdown of the game’s servers, both Metal Gear Solid V and Metal Gear Online. The final shutdown will take effect on May 31, 2022, at which time we will be depositing soldiers at the home base and other multiplayer options at the title.

Konami doesn’t justify it, although we know because the game was live and the number of active players on PS3 and Xbox 360 doesn’t make up for the servers’ survival.
