It belongs to the Future group kordya Birmingham-based Cordia Blackswan, which was bought by Birmingham and renamed last year, is being built on a plot of approximately 8,000 square feet in the Digpeth district of Birmingham.

The project will create one-, two- and three-bedroom homes in two U-shaped five- and eight-storey buildings respectively, which will be surrounded by landscaped public spaces.

In addition to the recently announced development, Cordia Blackswan plans to build more than 1,800 homes and approximately 33.5 thousand square meters of retail space in the UK’s West Midlands, and is also actively looking for additional plots, the company said in a statement.

Cordia is one of the largest residential real estate development and investment groups in Central and Eastern Europe, located in the middle and upper part of the new housing markets in Hungary, Poland and Romania, and has a pilot project in Spain.

Based on the consolidated data for 2020, the group’s revenue was HUF 68.3 billion after HUF 34.5 billion in 2019, and its pre-tax profit increased from HUF 6.8 billion to HUF 22.3 billion. The total balance sheet increased from HUF 181.6 billion to HUF 299.2 billion and equity from HUF 34 billion to HUF 69.2 billion.
