McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has once again become the victim of thieves. In Austria he talked about what happened during his vacation in Spain.
F1’s program for the next five weeks is dense, with two weekends following one another with a break. Lando Norris took advantage of the gap between the Canadian and Austrian Grand Prix weekends and flew to Spain to unwind. However, it did not end well.
Norris revealed that while they were out to dinner one night, the rented villa on the island of Marbella, where he and his group of friends were staying, was robbed.
We went to dinner and our villa was robbed. A bunch of things were stolen. There were expensive things and there weren’t expensive things. It’s still an ongoing issue, so I can’t say much about it.”
Norris confirmed Palestinian Authority news agency.
One of the contestants’ holiday companions, Jenny Dimova, was a British “influencer” who reported that many of her shoes, clothes and jewelry were gone. “The villa was robbed and everything I owned, my clothes, my shoes, my bags, my jewellery, everything **** was taken. I literally had nothing left.” – The lady complained on her page on social networking sites.
This is not the first time Norris has been targeted by criminals. In 2021, on the night of the UEFA European Football Championship final in England, he is attacked by thieves in a car park outside Wembley and his £144,000 watch is stolen.
Since then, a hearing has been held in the case, but the accused who was summoned was finally acquitted due to lack of evidence. The perpetrators have not been brought to justice since, and Norris’ watch has been lost.
