Last year’s Wimbledon women’s tennis final was eliminated

Although Pliskova won the first set, her opponent did not break and turned around and advanced.

Karolina Pliskova, last year’s finalist, lost the women’s competition at Wimbledon in the second round. The sixth-seeded Czech tennis player lost to Katie Poulter, who was playing in front of the host crowd, on the center court from a specific deficit.
