According to the sources, Defense Minister Rustam Umarov is preparing the requests To dismiss Tetyana Ostashenko, Commander of the Medical Forces, Oleksandr Tarnavsky, Commander of the Tavria Group, and Serhiy Naev, Commander of the Joint Forces.
Ostashenko’s dismissal was allegedly requested by his subordinates and volunteers serving at the front, after they were accused that the command did not purchase enough first aid kits and did not properly check the quality of supplies coming from abroad.
The reasons for the possible dismissal of Tarnavsky and Naif, who commanded forces fighting on Ukraine’s southern front line, are unknown.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense did not comment on the rumours. But according to reports, negotiations regarding the release of the three orders have been ongoing for months.
This will not be the first time that Chief of Staff Valery Zalozny’s personnel have been forced to leave. Not long ago, General Viktor Horenko was fired as head of the Special Forces Command. According to some assumptions, a systematic campaign was launched to discredit the country’s Chief of Staff.
