Lenovo has opened a manufacturing plant in Hungary

The plant already employs more than 1,000 full-time employees in a variety of engineering, management and operational positions, and the number of employees will continue to grow as the facility moves toward full capacity.

According to the announcement, strong infrastructure, skilled labor and Hungary, located in the center of Europe, provide the ideal location and Lenovo In addition, part of the investment was backed by the National Investment Agency (HIPA) with local government incentives, MTI writes.

The new facility, which covers approximately 50,000 square feet, is one of Lenovo’s largest manufacturing facilities. The production line is capable of producing more than 1,000 servers and 4,000 workstations per day, all tailored to meet customer needs.

The new building, which was specially constructed for this purpose, is fitted with 0.5 MW solar panels. Local manufacturing of devices significantly reduces delivery time and distance between products, providing more efficient and sustainable shipping options. All of this, combined with innovative manufacturing processes such as Lenovo’s patented low-temperature welding process, helps the company achieve its climate goals.

Lenovo has annual revenue of 70 billion dollars – China – global technology a companywhich employs 75,000 people worldwide and serves millions of customers daily in 180 markets.
