The new ThinkBook, called Project Crystal, is just a prototype at the moment, but it's very exciting.
After Samsung introduced its first transparent TV at this year's CES, Lenovo also created a transparent laptop at Mobile World Congress. In its name, this device is also considered unique and the first in the world. Although it is just a prototype at the moment, it is undoubtedly very amazing and exciting.

The screen is transparent, and the keyboard is virtual
The new ThinkBook called Project Crystal has a 17.3-inch micro-LED display, so it's pretty big, and a virtual keyboard, so it's basically a big touchscreen. According to Lenovo, technology similar to that used in Samsung TVs has several advantages, including 1,000 nits of continuous brightness, which is twice what is found in the current MacBook, for example. It promises very good visibility, saturated colors and excellent contrast indoors and outdoors. The resolution is currently relatively modest, 720p, but in an unusual way, a camera has also been placed on the back of the device, which will play a role in the augmented reality application.

The question is how good is the writing on it
As for the field of use, they say, for example, that the technology will be of great benefit in receptions or other places where we want to display the screen content to the client or partner, because we can reflect it there without converting the machine. There is no information yet on when the mass-production version is expected to be released.
