From the September 4 broadcast content.
Visitors wear slippers and wander among the antiques, while the 19th century kitchen steams with cabbage or soup. In the Zettl-Langer Collection in Sopron, this is a daily occurrence, because we are in a place that is also the family home. The Zettl family ran a great vinegar and spirits factory in the city, so the art-loving father was not happy that his son, Gustav, was chasing dreams of painting and archaeology, and ordered him to return to the factory. Later, this boy also took care of him, but in his spare time he painted, drew, taught archaeology and collected passionately with his friend Ferenc Storno the Younger. His collection survived the wartime looting under the protection of the National Museum. Then came the nationalization, and they also took away the house they lived in as tenants, but the collection that was registered in 1951 was allowed to remain. The family of her granddaughter, Agnes Langer, has shown it to all who may be interested.
