looks original picture One of the Ukrainian Challenger 2 tanks. The photo is from a car, it is likely that the tank is maneuvering somewhere near the front line. Part of the image is obscured so that the tank cannot be located on the battlefield.
The photo clearly shows that the Ukrainians equipped the British tank with significant additional armor. It also received an improvised mesh shield against rocket-propelled grenades and anti-tank missiles from the sides and front, and a “chicken cage” was welded against drones and missiles coming from above.
It has long been speculated as to what could have been the reason why we could not see the British-built Challenger II tanks in person during the two-and-a-half-month summer campaign. According to Russian sources, all of these vehicles were destroyed in a Russian missile attack while they were being stored. However, based on the current picture, it is likely that British tanks are ready to participate in the second or third wave and the necessary reconstruction work has been carried out on them.
Recently, the first Stryker armored personnel carriers appeared in Ukraine, which may be a sign that Ukrainian forces are starting to use equipment intended for later operations on the front line.
