TORONTO – Lululemon says it is combining function and fashion in its first-ever summer collection for the Canadian Olympics and Paralympians.
The Canadian clothing company unveiled its collection for this summer's Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games today in Toronto.
The company says it conducted product testing and feedback sessions with 19 Canadian Olympic and Paralympic athletes across 14 different sports while designing the collection.
The set includes features such as enclosed magnetic fasteners, pull loops, and sensory tactile guides to support a variety of body types and abilities.
Stylistically, the uniforms combine red, white and other colors using what Lululemon calls modern silhouettes and Canadian-inspired prints.
Lululemon makes its debut as Canada's Olympic and Paralympic apparel company at the Beijing 2022 Winter Games after a 16-year partnership with the Hudson's Bay company ended after the Tokyo Olympics.
