McDonald's: The restaurant in Debrecen is moving to a new location

– We have signed the lease, so our McDonald's restaurant on Arani Llanos Street will move to the MÁV headquarters, replacing the Bistro No. 1 and the recently closed DiVino restaurant – Gabriela Serhati, operator of the five McDonald's restaurants in Debrecen, confirmed Cívishír Information. The goal is to create restaurants in a place where their guests can access and use their services in the most convenient way.

At that time, a McDonald's restaurant in Debrecen could open in the new location

We plan to open it in the first quarter of next year. We are now in the planning stage and then the mandate will come. It is a memorial type building, so the latter takes a lot of time. We estimate that we will begin construction in the fall and that buyers will be able to take possession in early 2025

Gabriela Serhati explained to Cívishír. He added that they would also like to have a terrace on Biack and Zamenhof streets. The new restaurant will be a little smaller than the one in Arany János utca, but according to plans, guests will be waiting for a very nice place that meets new challenges just like the others. At McDonald's.

We took into consideration several aspects related to this step. The most important thing is that the Jövő experience takes place in a new place. We have already done this in other restaurants, and this is the kiosk, i.e. the touch screen ordering system. Of course, we will retain our employees, and even increase the number of employees. Our opening hours will not change either, on Friday and Saturday nights we will be waiting for our guests longer, until 6am. According to our plans, only a week or two will pass between the closing of the store on Arani János Street and the opening of the MÁV headquarters, so no one will be without a Mickey in the city center for a long time – concluded Gabriela Serhati.
