Michigan State University's online graduate programs continue to receive top rankings in U.S. News & World Report online program rankings, 2024 edition
After returning to the top 10 in the 2023 report, MSU's online graduate program at Faculty of Education It improved three places to seventh place overall and among public institutions.
The program also placed in the top five in four specific specialty areas identified by US News & World Report:
- No. 1 for curriculum and teaching
- No. 1 for educational administration and supervision
- No. 4 for designing educational and educational media
- No. 5 for special education
“In today’s dynamic educational landscape, online education is a catalyst for accessible learning, breaking down barriers and providing flexibility,” said Gerlando Jackson, dean of Michigan State University’s College of Education. “The marked improvement in our online college rankings underscores the exceptional quality of education experienced by Spartans around the world.”
the Broad College of BusinessThe non-MBA online graduate program rose two spots to No. 4 in the nation and No. 2 among public institutions. This represents the program's highest rating ever. The program also jumped one place to #2 in the nation, and #1 among audiences, in online business programs for veterans.
the Faculty of Social SciencesOur online master's program in criminal justice is ranked No. 10 in the nation and No. 6 among public universities. The program also ranked No. 5 among the best criminal justice programs for veterans.
