Netflix revealed the exciting news on May 30 in the afternoon. The exact details of the story are of course unknown, but Netflix has revealed that we can talk about an animated series that can show the world of Minecraft in a completely new light, and new characters will come to their aid. Responsible for the creation will be the WildBrain studio, which previously worked on Sonic Prime, Ninjago: Dragons Rising or the Carmen Sandiego series.
However, this is not the only adaptation related to the world of Minecraft. Warner Bros. Studios And Legendary is already preparing a live-action film, in which actors such as Jack Black, Jason Momoa or Emma Myers, known from the Wednesday series, will also appear. The release date for the Netflix series is unknown, and the film may hit theaters in April 2025.
