MLSZ Teams – Women’s Nations League: The goal is to secure second place

Our women’s national team will play against the host team in Ireland on Saturday evening, and next Tuesday they will host the Albanians in the final group match at the Og Hidekuti Stadium.

Captain Margaret Kratz’s side currently sit in second place in their UN League group and will play their final two group matches with the aim of maintaining that position. On Saturday, an even tougher match awaits the Fenifesi Evelyns, as they will play at home to an Irish team that has been unblemished so far. The Islanders scored 12 goals in four matches and conceded only one goal, and they were able to win 4-0 in Budapest at the end of September, so they are also the favorites to participate in the current match.

Our goal is to maintain second place in the group, and of course we want to end the group matches with a victory over Albanians. We are playing against two completely different teams, against the Irish we will play and act differently than we do against the Albanians. Twice against Northern Ireland, we played an excellent first half, and both times it was a weaker second half. We want to make a similar start in the remaining two matches, but we must maintain the good performance throughout, in order to achieve a good result. Margaret Kratz said.

Dublin’s Tallaght Stadium will host Friday’s match, with kick-off at 20:30 and will be broadcast live on M4 Sport.
