More than 400 programmes are being prepared for the Researchers' Night.

This year too, the University of Szeged awaits those interested with exciting and diverse programmes at the Researchers’ Night, which will be held on September 27 and 28, 2024. The aim of this event is to bring the world of science closer to the general public and to show the beauties of the researcher’s profession. University website.

Interested parties can choose from more than 400 programs at the event, ranging from laboratory visits to presentations and scientific experiments to lectures. During the programs, SZTE researchers, lecturers and students personally share the latest findings in their fields of science, while visitors can observe exciting experiments.

Prof. Dr. Zoltán Konya, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation: At this event, almost all faculties of SZTE are waiting for interested parties with a wide range of programs. – To name a few, there will be an international dance evening at Choreomundus, a theater for young archaeologists, an English-language tour at TIK, 3D printing and telemedicine in medicine and the “PhysShow” with Ferenc Ignacz’s most exciting experiments. The parade of events in Szeged affects not only Szeged, the Baja Observatory and the Faculty of Agriculture in Hódmezővásárhely are also preparing exciting attractions. Most of the programs this year are offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, and the Faculty of Medicine St. György Albert.
