Riders rode in the scorching heat in Oroshaza. Over the weekend, a national recreational horse competition was held in Bugarzo.
Orosháza hosted a national competition, featuring riders from Abony and Túrkeve. Over a hundred riders competed and winners were announced in about 20 categories. The Orosháza leg of the championship was organized by the Hungarian Federation of Recreational Equestrian Sports in cooperation with Gepár Lovas Egyesület from Orosháza. The final will be in August.
Twenty competitors from Orošáz represent the association, said Titanila Hegedes. He did not put pressure on his students to achieve results. – The high temperature does not have a good effect on either the riders or the horses. The competition is held in the children's skill and show jumping categories. In general, we were able to provide good competition conditions. Most of the competitors who come here are beginners, and they are satisfied with the organization. I asked Orošáz students to compete calmly and quietly and have a good time. Many of my riders started with new horses, thus promoting their further development – concluded Titanila Hegedes, President of Gepár Lovas Egyesület.
As we learned, unlike many other sports, for equestrian the foundation is timed for winter, while horses are worked on in summer. August and September are the period of the championship finals. The competitors in Orosház will then start on July 20 in Törkév.
