– Shoigu told Putin at the residence of the head of state in Novo-Ogaryovo near Moscow, adding that the sending of invitations has been completed.
He added that 218,000 people have been mobilized and are currently working on perfecting their skills in the training field.
As he said, only military registration and enlistment offices will recruit volunteers and contractual service applicants from now on. According to him, special attention was paid to the preparation of recruits before they were sent to the area of ”special military operations”.
The minister also reported that more than 27,000 entrepreneurs and more than 1,300 officials in the executive authority at various levels were mobilized. The number of volunteers was limited to 13,000 volunteers. He said that those involved in the “special military operation” would all receive veteran status.
