Although the German national team dominated the beginning of the match, the Americans took the lead thanks to the huge goal scored by Christian Pulisic. The Milan striker started from the left side, then shot the long ball perfectly from in front of the penalty area, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen had no chance. Numerous German shots then resulted in a goal at the end of the first half. Leroy Sane also passed the ball past the goalkeeper, but Matt Turner managed to get it at the last minute, and unfortunately he shot it directly in front of Ilkay Gundogan, and the Barcelona player scored the goal.
In the second half, Julian Nagelsmann’s team, who appeared for the first time on the bench, took the lead through Niklas Volkrug, and then Jamal Musial also scored a goal to take a two-goal lead.
In the last half hour, the Americans who were playing at home were unable to hold on, and the Germans won their second match since Hansi Flick was sent off.
