The Red Team is as confident in few of its projects as this one.
Blue-eyed samurai It arrives on Netflix on November 3, 2023. The French-American co-production revolves around a campaign of revenge by a sword-wielding woman in the 17th century. Set in 19th century Japan, this is always a welcome choice for an anime.
The excellent and fast-paced action scenes in the series have won the admiration of many, and it seems that the streaming giant still sees imagination in the series. They were also confirmed by the first month’s reviews, and to their delight, they have already ordered the next season.
The main character is on his way from Japan to London to deal with his other goals there. Mizu will have to deal with a whole new culture while trying to overcome his personal problems. Relatively little is known about the story regarding the sequel, as the premiere date is not even known.
We don’t expect a premiere before 2025: the animation quality was also extraordinary in the first season, and good work takes time.
