Incidentally, this wouldn't be the first Ghostbusters animated series, as there have been two before: The Real Ghostbusters ran from 1986 to 1991, with a total of seven seasons and 140 episodes, while The New Adventures of Ghostbusters only had one season in 1997. But it was 40 episodes long.
