Netflix premiered the series in the spring and, after its positive reception, ordered it starring Arnold Schwarzenegger crazy The second season of the spy adventure series. The news was announced by Schwarzenegger himself on Saturday at the streaming giant’s Tudum event in Brazil this year.
the crazy Starring the 75-year-old action star, who is also the executive producer of the series, as a retired CIA agent who is forced to return to the field for one last job and teams up with his estranged daughter Emma (Monica Barbaro), for whom he is also an agent. They have to tackle this family trauma together in the middle of the act, seasoned with a great deal of humor.
The end of the first season left an open loophole for a sequel, and since the series was well received by critics and viewers alike, it was no surprise that Netflix ordered a second season to pick up the CIA agent’s mission.
The series stars Schwarzenegger and others, including Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Gabriel Luna, Fortune Phimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Odinho, Barbara Eve Harris, Aparna Brill, Andy Buckley, and Jay Baruchel.
Nick Santora is the showrunner and serves as an executive producer with Schwarzenegger. Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Holly Dale and Bill Post also executive produce with David Ellison and Skydance’s Dana Goldberg.
All eight episodes of the series debuted on Netflix on May 25th.
