Premium Internet media services suffer greatly from interference in emerging markets, and purchasing power-adjusted prices are often not enough to succeed. Now Netflix is interesting I tried In Kenya, the free version is now available for free from Android devices.
If you are using a version that does not display ads and does not require you to provide payment information, your view will be limited, and only a portion of the content that is available in Kenya for free can be viewed. There are also technical limitations, such as the inability to download movies and series to watch offline or stream to TVs.
As part of the trial, Netflix wants to highlight how many user camps participating in the free version can convert into paid customers. If all goes well, the company could extend the experience to other countries in the future, but expect it to include very emerging markets where the name Netflix is almost unknown to the general public.
