The Netflix Gaming content library is growing with more and more high-quality games.
Netflix’s video game offering just gets better and better, having swelled to more than 60 games since launching last year. Among these, you can find all kinds of games, from simpler spin-offs to award-winning large-scale creations.
Of these, Oxenfree, Spiritfarer, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, Twelve Minutes, Townsmen, Raji, Kentucky Route Zero, or Immortality are noteworthy, all of which are unmissable masterpieces. And anyone can play it with a basic Netflix subscription, and they don’t ask for any additional costs, just as they don’t have microtransactions or in-game ads.
This impressive list will continue to expand in the coming months, with more and more high-profile games:
Oxenfree II: The Missing Signals
Night School, one of the first game studios to be acquired by Netflix, will bring a sequel to the supernatural thriller series Oxenfree on July 12 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC. On the other hand, subscribers to the streaming service get it completely free. By the way, the story takes place 5 years after the events of the first part, and it will introduce a completely new crew and a completely new mystic.
Chess for the Queen
Netflix’s hugely successful miniseries is getting an unexpected, but unsurprising, way to adapt the game We Can Actually Play Chess on July 25th. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, everyone will find something for themselves in Vezércsel: you can solve puzzles of different difficulties, but you can also play chess and compete against your friends. Outside the chessboard, you can meet familiar faces like Mr. Shaibel and Borgov and visit famous locations like Beth’s House, Methuen Orphanage, or Las Vegas Raceway.
Cut the cord daily
The legendary Om Nom is back – and he craves candy! In the latest installment of the classic Cut the Rope series that is 10 years old or more, which will be released on August 1st, casual players who want to enjoy are welcome to enjoy brand new challenges every day to successfully feed the cute creature sweet tooth. Of course, the basic mechanics remain, so you still have to cut ropes neatly, pop balloons, and collect the Rahedli star according to the laws of physics.
Lego Legacy: Heroes Unboxed
In LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed, players can collect and battle over 50 characters from over 40 years of the popular minifigure’s history. Build imaginative sets and assemble a team of familiar faces from Hot Dog Man to Princess Argenta, then prove your LEGO skills and strategy skills in exciting, action-packed battles.
paper roll
Paper Trail is an incredibly beautiful, original and unique narrative logic game in which we can get acquainted with an engaging and emotional story with Carto-style environmental manipulation. Here, however, we don’t have to think in terms of blocks: the playing field works like folding paper, that is, we have to do origami in such a way that our hero can find his way forward.
The game, which has already won more than 10 awards, will also be released for consoles (Xbox-PS) and PC, but Netflix subscribers can also play it for free via the app. However, we do not know the release date, but theoretically it could arrive in the next few months.
In the coming weeks and months, this will be the most anticipated Netflix game, which everyone should really experience. Since we don’t have to do anything else, just open the service’s iOS and/or Android app, tap the game menu at the bottom, and then after a short download, we can start playing.
