Netflix wants a new Squid Game series, and it won't be entrusting the direction to just anyone

According to press reports, David Fincher, the author of Fight Club, will supervise the project.

Considering it's one of the biggest hits in Netflix's history, the announcement of a 2021 sequel to Squid Game was no surprise. Delivery time According to his information, he is trying an English version.

According to the sources reporting the news, the service provider will entrust the project to David Fincher, director of The Fighters Club and The Seventh, as they are already under contract. Fincher's two most recent films, The Man with Gary Oldman and The Killer starring Michael Fassbender, have received financing from Netflix.

No official announcement has been made yet, but it is believed that an adaptation of Hwang Dong-hyuk's novel will be the director's next project, which he will devote his time to in 2025. It is believed that the United States will serve as the story's location, and Dennis Kelly, who wrote Utopia (the series The original British version, not the American version), based on the screenplay.
