phones like Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and the Xiaomi 12T Pro Already equipped with such sensors, but this will be the first in the Samsung range. The news comes from Ice Universe, the design speaks for itself: it’s Samsung One UI. The user interface has been a staple of Galaxy phones for years.
Specifically, the screenshot shows the camera interface and shows a 200MP option. This increases the possibility that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will have such capabilities.
The same leaker sparked the conversation last month when he wrote that the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200-megapixel sensor has 0.6 micrometers over the 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/1.7 aperture.
As mentioned earlier, this will only be possible with Samsung’s new 200MP third camera sensor, the ISOCELL HPX. It includes new technologies such as Advanced Deep Trench Isolation (DTI) to improve light absorption and Tetra2Pixel, which allows the sensor to combine 4 or 16 pixels for better low-light performance.
According to the leaked image, it is noticeable that the other visual mode is listed as 50MP. This is likely a mid-range movement made possible by the aforementioned Tetra2Pixel technology. Since 200MP photos are likely to take up a lot of space, the 50MP mode can be useful for capturing quick shots that still look good.

We expect the default camera mode to be 12.5MP with 4×4 pixel stacking. It will be exciting to see what Samsung’s new sensor can do, especially with the increased performance in low light.
The S22 Ultra’s sensor is already capable of providing plenty of detail for photos and solid video quality. This step allows for better low-light performance in both sections. This may be the first time that a 200MP sensor has been included in the Samsung flagship S23 Ultra.
