Nike opens the region’s largest brand store in Budapest

It opened today on the ground floor of Westend Shopping Centre Nike Budapest, with an area of ​​2,000 square metres, is the largest single storey Nike store in Europe. Through which the brand wants to connect sport with the city and the people who want to move through the most innovative digital experiences and services.

The new store introduces the “Rise” Nike global store concept, with a strong focus on personalizing the shopping experience. The fact that Nike by You Grab & Go will be available at Nike Budapest also serves this purpose, as individual products can be customized to make garments unique.

In the new store in Budapest, in the name of sustainability, used Nike products are collected and recycled. The shoes that are no longer suitable for wearing will become junk, which are already made in the new store, for example, the cash desk, wall coverings, sidewalks, and furniture. Used shoes in better condition are given to those who need them.

Following Westend’s new strategy, 30 percent of the tenant’s portfolio has been renewed in the past period, new brands have emerged, existing stores have been relocated, and the store concept has been reconsidered. The shopping center offering has expanded to include stores such as C&A, Teilor, Roland Accessories, Wittchen, United Colors of Benetton, Hervis, Foot Locker, Mesopotamia and now Nike.
