Nikki Glaser, one of the lead characters on Netflix's Tom Brady Roast, revealed that she wasn't able to deliver every joke she had planned during the live comedy event.
During an interview on SiriusXM's The Howard Stern Show After the barbecue, the comedian and actress, who received widespread praise for her set, shared some of the lines the audience missed Sunday night.
“Tom, I love your work — you did it to your face,” read one of Glaser’s jokes about the soccer star’s alleged plastic surgery that cut her off. “Seriously, slow down. What's going on with your cheeks? You look like a Ken doll that was microwaved. You like to vacuum things up, stop.”
the F-Girl Island The star said she also made a joke about CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), a progressive degenerative disease that affects many NFL players who have suffered repeated concussions and traumatic brain injuries.
“It is truly wonderful that all proceeds will go to CTE research and the NFL’s coordinated efforts to cover it up,” Glaser read. “People don't know, but killing these doctors who know the truth costs millions. … These guys are really destroying their bodies and their brains, all for the sake of guys hugging each other at Buffalo Wild Wings.
The greatest roast of all time: roast Tom Brady, Part of Netflix is the Joke Festival, hosted by Kevin Hart and Jeff Ross. It featured the former NFL quarterback taking humorous barbs from comedy icons, friends and former teammates, including Glaser, Rob Gronkowski, Tom Segura and more.
Elsewhere during her interview with host Howard Stern, Glaser also shared the one topic that everyone was off-limits from taking to the stage.
“We all collectively decided not to involve his kids too much in anything because they didn't ask for it,” she said. “So, I couldn't say, 'Tom, I hope we meet at the next party — you can pretend I'm your son,'” referring to a controversial kiss Brady gave his 11-year-old son Jack during It's 2018. tom vs. time Documentary series.
“But yeah, there were things like that,” Glaser added. “We all just agreed: Let's not throw kids under the bus.” Even though I just did it here.”
Brady shares a son with ex-wife Bridget Moynahan, as well as two children with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, who was also the butt of many jokes throughout the Netflix comedy event.
