As is known, on Thursday evening, Lithuania tied at home 2-2 in a big battle with the Hungarians and Serbs, alongside Montenegro, which seeks to advance in the 2024 European Football Championship qualifiers. The national team captain of the visiting team, Miodrag Radulović, expressed his anger after match, among other things. He also said that, in his opinion, they are simply not a good type of competitor in intense situations.

“It is very difficult to process what happened, but we have to get through it and find new strength, as another difficult match awaits us. Miodrag Radulović admitted that Montenegro entered the field as favorites in Lithuania, and then allowed himself an increasingly critical tone: “Our team is better, but not as much as the sports press makes it out to be. When you go 2-1 up in the 89th minute, quality and tactics no longer play such a role. We’re not the types to race well in difficult situations. We won the game after ninety minutes, but lost by two points. It is incomprehensible how we can allow this, Three of our players could have made the ball or made a mistake, but they didn’t. “No one can lose a match like this except us.”
He said about their match against Bulgaria on Sunday: “There will definitely be changes. We have to update the team.”
