The club announced that due to the failure of the past weeks, the head coach of their soccer team, Ferenc Lengel, will leave the young Pope’s seat on December 31 by mutual agreement.

While writing them, Ferenc Lingel was named president of Pápai Perutz FC on April 8, 2019, and in the 2018-2019 season he managed to achieve his goal, which is to stay.
Currently, after 21 league rounds, the squad is ranked 16th in the Western Group of 20 teams.
