After a long promotional campaign and creating excitement, the CMF brand under the title Nothing presented its first smartphone, which was very affordable and interesting due to its removable back design. It seems that the manufacturer will announce another device later this month: the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will arrive on July 31.
This information comes from a completely official source. Nothing recently published a post on X saying that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will be “bigger, bigger, and more”. Of course, not much can be revealed about this, but it is quite clear that the new product that will be unveiled at the end of the month will be an updated version of the Nothing Phone (2a). By the way, the mid-range model in question recently received a major software update, which we also reported on in our previous article.
The only question is what the new device will definitely feature. The announcement of the phone was accompanied by this image of the grooves, which could indicate that the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will get wireless charging, which the original device lacked. You can learn about the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus features in our previous articles.
Since the (2a) was unveiled in March, there hasn’t been much going on around the smartphone. The blue variant arrived in April, and recently the aforementioned software update. The Nothing flagship won’t be released this year, as officially confirmed by Carl Pei, the company’s co-founder. The Nothing Phone (3) will debut in 2025. As for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, if it is unveiled on July 31, we will definitely hear about it from official and possibly unofficial sources.
