The MWC in Barcelona is moving forward in full force, plenty of tech manufacturers are represented, there’s a lot of buzz, and nothing that doesn’t want to be left out either. Former OnePlus flagship Carl Pei has made an announcement in which they have officially confirmed previous reports that Nothing Phone (2) will move to a higher class in terms of the chipset responsible for its leadership.
Carl Pei is a big believer in the gradual flow of information, he liked to use this method before and seems to be trying to build up the hype around Nothing Phone (2) bit by bit.
The company’s manager has now attracted attention with his announcement Inside the Nothing Phone (2), the Snapdragon 8 chipset will actually do the math. Incidentally, the first generation is covered by the Snapdragon 778G+, which is a far cry from the build you’ll have to regret, but it’s still not top-notch.
The scattering of small bits of information means that no more is revealed about the device. The device is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year, so it will be shown for the first time sometime between July and September. Accordingly, there is also a possibility that Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 could be inside, provided there is such a chipset.
Carl Pei did not reveal any other details but there are still rumors about the smartphone. If their distributors aren’t mistaken, Nothing Phone (2) takes to the world with a 120Hz OLED display, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery. We hope that the special back panel design that made the first version of the mobile phone special will also remain.
